So, I’ve finally arrived in camp yesterday morning, but still without luggage. Finally saw Kerri for the first time since prep day, and then met Lindsay. So us four British girls have kinda stuck together since we got here. We got put in our bunks and I’m currently sharing with Kerri and some other girls, but Courtney and Lindsay are on the other side of the cabin. Yesterday, we did the full American road trip to Walmart in Eric’s HUGEEEEE SUV :) The p[hrase ‘everything is bigger in Texas’ is so so SO true. Even the bottles of wine! :P I’m not really in the mood to blog now so…nevermind! :) x

So, the start of my trip could have gone better, with the dutch losing my baggage and everything. And they STILL haven’t delivered it, but they should before 11pm. Hopefully. God danggggg it!!

So I arrived at Dallas Fort Worth to be greeted by the Cohn family and staff from Greene Family Camp which was lovely after the luggage problem! Theeeeen we went back to the Cohn’s house which is…like a mansion, pool, massive, no jokeeeee!! We chilled out by the pool then went to a nice Mexican restaurant where I had something like queesaldiaosdiasldo…anyway I can’t pronounce it so I pointed :)

Theeen we had a lovely early night as our brains were still on English time. Then as I woke up super early (even though I fell back asleep a few times), we got up and went to Stacey’s softball match. I absolutely loved it, learning that it is rounders with a few more rules :) and hearing all the American accents yayyy :D then after softball we went to Six Flags over Texas which is an epic theme park. Think Alton Towers but bigger and better :D Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were there too, which is pretty crazy!! :P

And this evening we had a takeout pizza which was…huge. Is an understatement :) and was lovely, then we chilled by the pool for hourzzzzz!! 

Now, luggage still isn’t here, I’m going to sue if it isn’t here before 11pm. Which is in an hour! Well, I am in the land of sueing!! :)

So the first leg of my flight to the US is over. I thought I’d stay awake cause I’m all excited but I fell asleep right away for the whole hour and a half. I am now sat in Amsterdam airport waiting to board my final flight :) looking forward to landing into Dallas/Fort Worth and meeting the Cohns, my host family for the weekend. Bring on Americaaaaa! :)

So I’m at my camp prep day. Doing lots of things that’s getting me more and more excited about Texas. Met Kerri finally so a lot less worried about being on my own at camp. Also feel a lot better about what to take and what to expect :) eeeeekkk! #countdown19dayzzz

So just booked my hostels in Las Vegas and Los Angeles, and also my Greyhound buses between Waco and Vegas, and between Vegas and Los Angeles :) now just got my New York hostel to book then I’m done! :D so so so excited, been looking through my new USA Guidebook courtesy of mummy :) <3 #countdown23days

Yay, received my Payoneer Mastercard Debit Card today which I will be able to use in the states :) everythings getting finalised, and it’s a wee bit scary. But still #countdown 24 days and I will have landed in Amsterdam and awaiting my flight to Dallas-Fort Worth :)

American Sim Card ordered!! :) will let special people know this number when I receive it! Ohhhh I’m REALLY getting excited now. #countdown 24 days right this second, I’ll be waiting to board my flight to Amsterdam to then get my plane to Dallas <3
